Regular Care is our premium single-day service tier — designed for everyday families, recurring walkers, and clients who need midday coverage or occasional extended care. It is priced at our full rate and available for any single-day booking. Vacation Care is our extended-stay tier, designed for clients away for two or more consecutive days. The reduced pricing rewards that commitment — while delivering the exact same Pau Pair standard of care, the same team, the same enrichment, and the same reporting. The only difference is the duration and the rate.

Every Pau Pair relationship begins with a personal, in-home introduction — and no client begins service without one. Your assigned primary sitter and your designated backup sitter are both present from day one. Having both present from the very first meeting means your pet and your family build comfort and trust with everyone who will ever enter your home — before a single visit takes place.

A $50 deposit reserves your Meet & Greet and is applied in full toward your first service. The Meet & Greet itself is complimentary. The deposit is non-refundable.

Whatever your pet needs — and we mean that entirely. Every care plan is built from scratch around your individual pet. There is no standard Pau Pair visit. There is only your dog's visit.

For some dogs that means a long sniff-led walk down their favorite street. For others it's twenty minutes of fetch in the backyard, a quiet afternoon on the couch with the TV on, or a calm wind-down routine before bed. We follow your pet's lead — because their personality, their preferences, and their needs are the plan.

Every visit also includes the home care your sitter provides without being asked — mail collected, plants watered, lights rotated, trash handled. Your home will be left in better condition than they found it, every single time.

Yes. Medication administration is part of what we do — oral medications, topical treatments, and other routine medical needs are documented in your care plan and handled with care at every visit. Any specific medical protocols are discussed in full at your Meet & Greet so your sitter arrives fully prepared from day one.

For pet sitting services, a 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is auto-billed 72 hours prior to your service start date. Bookings made within 3 days of service start are charged in full at the time of booking.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of a scheduled appointment will forfeit the deposit held and the full appointment fee will be charged.

Platinum Pack is our recurring weekly walking membership — a quarterly commitment between your family, your dog, and a dedicated sitter who genuinely becomes part of your world. It is designed for families who want the same familiar face on a consistent, protected schedule every single week.

Platinum Pack members receive locked-in rates, priority scheduling, and a sitter who knows their dog the way only consistency can teach. Minimum 2 walks per week required. Billing is monthly, automatically on the 1st of each month.

This is not a service you book when you need it. It is a relationship you invest in.

Multi-pet households are absolutely welcome — and we are experienced in managing the individual needs of each animal in your home. Dogs who cannot be out together are rotated with intention and care. Cats are included in the care plan. Mixed households of one dog and one cat are covered under the base service rate with no additional charge.

Additional pet fees apply for households with more than two dogs or more than two cats — these are outlined in full in our Additional Fees section and confirmed before any booking is made.

Life happens and we understand that. Please notify us as early as possible if something changes on your end — our team will always do their best to work with you. Our 48-hour cancellation policy applies to all scheduled appointments.

For Platinum Pack members, day-to-day schedule adjustments are handled directly with your sitter and the Pau Pair team. Program exit requires a minimum of 30 days written notice — full details are included in your client agreement.

This is exactly why a backup sitter is introduced at your very first Meet & Greet. Your backup already knows your pet, knows your home, and knows your routine — so if your primary sitter faces an unexpected illness or emergency, your backup steps in seamlessly. You are notified as soon as Pau Pair is aware of any change. Your visit continues with the same standard of care, without interruption.
